Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova

August 27 is the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova. As usual KJJC actively participates in the holiday program.

On the eve of the holiday Vocal studio of the JCC KEDEM led by Professor Sergo Bengelsdorf participated in the Third Festival of Ethnic Theaters.

At the same day in the Open Air of the KJCC a wonderful concert of the National Philharmonic gathered over 100 fans of classic music. Thin, charming, and solemn melodies of Brahms, Liszt, Weber, Mozart, Haydn created a real show. The orchestra was conducted by young Spanish and Romanian disciples of Maestro Octavio Calleia (Spain).

This is a very democratic form that popularizes classic music”, said Maestro Calleia. “We play at your wonderful center for the 2nd time already, and we’ll be happy if you invite us in the future as well.”

Next day dancing group “Ashraa” closed the big concert on the Square of National Accord in the heart of Kishinev.

“This is a high honor for us to receive invitations for official events held in our country”, told Stella Harmelina, JCC Director. “In fact this is a proof of our professionalism and being known in Moldova”.
