Thanks to extra grant from UJA Federation of Greater Toronto Kishinev Hesed was able to increase the services to its clients. Food programs, medical services, SOS help for children and winter relief are among the most claimed programs.

‘We are so thankful for the wheelchair for our daughter. – said mom of a disabled girl. “It was so expensive for us to buy it. Now she is able to move, take the air and see people”.

“Last winter was very long and cold. We do not have domestic heating in our settlement. I do not know how I could survive without wood and coal I received from Hesed.” – told 73-year old man who lives in Bardar village (30 km from Kishinev).
