On May 18 a young lady named Lauren Simon visited KJJC. She arrived from Raleigh (North Carolina, USA) with the USA Dental Mission to Moldova.
One of the main goals of the visit was to donate money that Lauren had gathered as a result of a fundraising campaign among students and their parents for the Moldovan Jewish Community.

Together with Dr. Horwitz, Dr. Pollock and Dr. Sessons, Lauren kindly gave over $1,000 to the Mazal Tov and Day Center programs at KJJC and for the development of children’s programs in Beltsy.

Now Lauren is a student in her junior year, and she is preparing to become a dentist in the future. This was her first visit to FSU and from her words we can understand that she enjoyed being here in Moldova.
Lauren: “I hope the money will help out areas in need, specifically related to the children. I have enjoyed all of my time here and I hope to be able to return in the future and see how the KJJC has grown and developed”.
