During the past 50 years - through conflict and quiet, in good times and in hard times – the JDC helped Israel build social services for the elderly, children and families at risk as well as for vulnerable immigrant population and the disabled, i.e. for all Israelis in need. Thus, the visit of JDC Israel senior staff was of special importance for the local Jewish community. The program included visits to Kishinev and regional Jewish organizations that follow one major goal: help and support to the Jewish Community of Moldova. Within the framework of their visit the guests had an opportunity to observe and point out the differences in organizations' structure and programs. Headed by Arnon Mantver, mission participants highly evaluated the level of the community services and organization development.
