Kishinev Pogrom 1903 is still one of the most sorrow and tragic dates in the modern Jewish history. On April 6 traditional meeting near the monument to the Pogrom victims took place. The meeting was organized by the Jewish Community. Over 100 people including heads of the Jewish organizations, schoolchildren, veterans of the World War II came to commemorate the memory of dozens victims and horror of the Pogrom that often name as predecessor of the Holocaust.

“We learned about the Pogrom in the school, and it really was a tragedy of humanity and Jews”, said one of the students of Jewish lyceum. “We are sure that such hatred and intolerance will never appear in Moldova and other countries.”
