Dances, music and happiness became the main features of Sukkot at the KJJC. Sukka was functioning during all the days of the holiday. Arba Minim mitsva with the help of Ohad Sternberg, our Peace Corps volunteer, was executed daily.

And on Sep. 26, a wonderful warm Sunday, the brightest event took place at the Open Air Ground of the Campus. JCC KEDEM supported by “Hevruta in Moldova” project organized a concert and show where no one of spectators could stay aside. “Dancing Show” performed by JCC and Jewish library groups as well as by specially invited break-dance collective “Antares” from Kishinev Republican Center of Youth and Children was so bright and joyful that kids and adults joined the dancers and in some moments the yard of the KJJC became an improvised dancing pavilion.

“This event became especially spectacular. I danced together with my kids”, said happily young mother. “We liked all the groups, but atmosphere itself was just fantastic!”

“I have not seen for a long time such expression and combination of our tradition and modern dances and joy!” exclaimed one of KJJC guests from the Peace Corps.
