The first ten days of March are the days of “Martsishor” that is one of the most popular holidays of spring in Moldova. Since 1967 a big national Festival is held all over the country. Many famous and popular singers, musicians, dancers, art groups perform on the concert grounds of the cities, towns and villages. KJJC was glad to present several dancing numbers by JCC KEDEM dancing group “Ashraa” on one of the biggest grounds of Kishinev – at the National Philharmonic on March 10. “It was an honor and at the same time a big pleasure to be invited for the concert”, said Elena, conductor of “Ashraa” group. “Today is a special concert for the orphan children and we are happy to dance for them and try to give a piece of happiness and spring to their hearts”.
