New High Guests at the KJJC

Last week JDC mission from MARCOMM Department of New York office and members of JDC-Jerusalem staff visited KJJC. The mission list included Claire Ellen Schultz, Beth Deborah Weinstein, Rina Edelstein, and Orly Doron. Visit to the KJJC was only one of the points of the program after visits to Heseds of Rybnitsa and Beltsy where guests could see the work of the programs sponsored by JDC in peripheral towns of the country.

“We are very pleased to have been able to spend time at KJJC and experience some of the programs going on there. There are so many talented professionals at KJJC it is impressive to see their work in person.
You are doing very important work and we look forward to the opportunity to see you again in the future”,
wrote Claire Schultz, Assistant Executive Vice President Global Marketing & Communications JDC

Power Point Presentation of the KJJC organizations, meeting with directors and tour of the Campus gave the opportunity to listen, see and better understand the role and place of the KJJC in the Jewish community as a whole. Visit was very intensive and impressive. Jewish Family Service Day Center for children with special needs, the analogue Hesed program for elderly from 75 to 96 years old, JCC Museum and other programs showed the step by step growth of KJJC activities diversification and its importance for community members.

On the next day after JDC mission, Mr. Avraham Sharon, Israeli Ambassador in Republic of Moldova, made a visit to our Campus. Mr. Ambassador got acquainted with the programs work and directors of the KJJC Organizations. It was his first visit to the Campus, however he promised to come back again in a few months.

“It was a really impressive visit. I learned a lot about the Jewish life in Kishinev and I am very much pleased and I appreciate the Joint activities and projects for the wellbeing of the Jews of Moldova”, wrote Mr. Sharon in the KJJC Guest Book.
